Set in Mauritius, @sparkinthedark ’s layered exploration of identity & family ties has echoes of #ZadieSmith 's nuanced character studies in "Swing Time". While we crave a slower narrative cadence to savor each persona, the raw performance & evocative lighting is stunning.
