The Twittique / TL;DR
@weareETT ’s adaptation paints with broad strokes, at times missing nuances of #KenLoach ’s cinematic critique of the UK’s welfare state. It’s a more polemic, less intimate take, but the cast ably captures shame, isolation & despair caused by an inhumane system.
